William Angliss Annual High Tea: Inti Raymi

On the 24th of October 2018, Flores Events – Stage 1 Diploma of Event Management students at William Angliss, organised this years annual High Tea; in theme of ‘Inti Raymi’ the Peruvian Festival of the Sun.

The event showcased the skills that the patisserie students had learnt during their time at William Angliss and was a celebration of them completing the course with their friends and families.

The patisserie students had created some beautiful desserts, including a Peruvian Gold; dulcey carmel, corn cake topped with a popcorn bavarois swirl, Nuts for Coffee; a coffee cream half sphere filled with a coffee praline feuilletine, and Limon; lime mousse and raspberry jelly sandwiched between 2 pistachio short pastries.

The beautiful styling included a wide range of bright colours; pinks, yellows, blues, greens to name a few. The bright colours from the gorgeous centre pieces on each table was paired with a mixture of colourful flowers and beads. Each table also had a beautiful stripped runner that paired perfectly with the centre pieces.

On the day we had paired the beautiful desserts with both a cocktail; Maracuya Sour and a mocktail; Virgin Mojito. They proved to be a massive hit with the guests as our wait staff couldn’t get out of the door without having to come back into the bar for more refills.

Overall, we would like to say a massive thank-you to the our client and teachers for the constant support throughout our journey of planning and bring to life of this event.  We all have learnt so much from this amazing experience.
